The area is basically rural and mostly inhabited by people from the island, so there is not much tourism and you can discover the real Mallorca. Even so, you will find everything you need in María de la Salut: supermarket, pharmacy, bank, sports area, bars and some restaurants.
In just 15 minutes driving you will reach Ses Casetes dels Capellans and Ca’n Picafort. Spend a good day on the fine sand beach or enjoy a cocktail watching the sunset. In the area, there are good restaurants where you can eat paella, with the most impressive views of the sea. The Ca'n Picafort promenade is a very lively area that contrasts with the very quiet Playa de Muro area. The areas of Puerto de Alcúdia and Pollença are also nearby.

Rustige ligging, ver weg van het massatoerisme, maar infrastructuur (bars, restaurants en kleine supermarkten) in directe nabijheid. De accommodatie heeft veel charme en is goed uitgerust. Het zwembad was geweldig voor de kinderen. Met een huurauto zijn uitstapjes naar het strand of het binnenland eenvoudig te maken, openbare busverbindingen zijn er elke 2-3 uur met een directe verbinding naar Palma.
